Ingredients
 
3 quarts popped popcorn
1-1/3 cups whole pecans, toasted
2/3 cup slivered almonds, toasted
1 cup butter OR margarine
1-1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup Crown® Lily White® Corn Syrup
2-1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
 
Instructions
 
Mix popcorn and nuts in a large bowl that has been sprayed with cooking spray.

Melt butter in a medium saucepan; add sugar and corn syrup.  Bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat, about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.  Continue to boil, stirring occasionally for 8 to 9 minutes until sauce is caramel colored.  Or bring to 270°F on a candy thermometer.  Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

Pour over popcorn mixture; stir well to coat.  Pour onto greased baking sheet or parchment paper.  Cool.  Break into bite sized pieces.  Store in a closed container.
