Soy Dipping Sauce

A great dipping sauce to serve with your favourite Asian appetizer.

SKILL LEVEL 1 - 1/3 cups
1 tablespoon Fleischmann's® Corn Starch
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup water
2 tablespoons minced green onion
1 teaspoon grated fresh gingerroot OR
2 teaspoons ground ginger
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
1 teaspoon dark Oriental sesame oil

Stir cornstarch and soy sauce in a small saucepan until smooth. Add water, green onion, ginger, sugar, hoisin sauce and sesame oil.

Bring to boil, stirring constantly, over medium heat; boil 1 minute.

Cover and refrigerate. If desired, sprinkle with additional green onion.
