Slow Cooker Banana Cake

With or without the streusel topping, this is a very easy and delicious banana cake that bakes in the slow cooker!

Ingredients
 
1 package (15.25 ounces) spice cake mix
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup Mazola® Corn, Canola OR Vegetable Oil
1 medium ripe banana, mashed
3 eggs
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Streusel Topping
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup old-fashioned oats
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 
 
Instructions
 

Spray a 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. 

Combine cake mix, flour, water, milk, oil, banana and eggs in a mixing bowl.  Beat for about 3 minutes on medium speed of an electric mixer to thoroughly combine.  Stir in nuts. 

Transfer batter to slow cooker.  Cover slow cooker with a double layer of paper towels; place slow cooker lid over paper towels.  Cook on LOW for 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 hours

Mash all struesel ingredients in a small bowl using a fork.  Sprinkle over cake. Cook an additional 30 minutes or until cake is firm and springs back when touched in the center.
