Glazed Acorn Squash

A sweet and delicious way to serve squash.

2 medium acorn squash, halved and seeded
1-1/2 cups cold tap water
1/3 cup Crown® Lily White® or Golden Corn Syrup
1 tablespoon butter OR margarine
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt

Preheat oven to 400ºF.

Place squash cut-side down in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish; add water. Bake 30 minutes or until squash is fork tender. Turn squash cut-side up. Combine corn syrup, butter, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl. Spoon corn syrup mixture into squash cavities.

Reduce oven temperature to 350ºF. Bake 15 minutes or until fork tender, basting occasionally.
