Apple and Walnut Salad

The sweet flavours of fruit combine with tangy yogurt and cheese to make a different and delicious salad. 
6 servings
2 tablespoons (25 mL) Mazola® Corn, Canola OR Vegetable Oil
1 tablespoon (15 mL) lemon juice
1/2 cup (125 mL) plain yogurt
1/4 cup (50 mL) honey
1/2 cup (125 mL) walnut pieces
4 apples, unpeeled and chopped
1 carrot, grated
3/4 cup (175 mL) cheddar cheese, cubed
1 cup (250 mL) sliced celery
2 cups (500 mL) Romaine lettuce leaves, torn

Combine oil, lemon juice, yogurt, honey, and walnuts in a small bowl.

Combine apples, carrot, cheese, celery, and romaine in a large salad bowl. Toss.

Pour dressing over salad mixture and mix.
