Old Tyme French Toast

The Goods
  • 1/2 cup (125mL) milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1mL) salt
  • 2 tablespoons (30mL) melted butter
  • 4 slices bread, one day fresh
  • Old Tyme Syrup

Make Good is Easy

Whisk together milk, eggs and salt in a shallow bowl. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Dip one slice of bread at a time into egg mixture; let bread soak for 10 seconds on each side.

Fry for 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Serve French toast with Old Tyme® Syrup and seasonal fruit.
