- 1/2 cup (125mL) milk
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon (1mL) salt
- 2 tablespoons (30mL) melted butter
- 4 slices bread, one day fresh
- Old Tyme Syrup
Perfect weekend breakfast or brunch!
Whisk together milk, eggs and salt in a shallow bowl. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Dip one slice of bread at a time into egg mixture; let bread soak for 10 seconds on each side.
Fry for 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Serve French toast with Old Tyme® Syrup and seasonal fruit.
