Make Good at Home
Remember to preheat your pan AND this before cooking!
Heat oil or fat in the pan before you slide in the food. This prevents food from soaking up excessive oil or fat and it helps prevent sticking.
Be a cut above the rest when serving your cake!
When serving a large round cake to a crowd, cut a circle in the center (place a small bowl on the cake and trace around it). Then cut the outer ring into slices. You'll have nice square pieces that fit on a plate, instead of long wedges that drop off the edge. You can cut the small round middle into pieces too. This works well for wedding cakes.
Start the process for a crispy crust before you even add the toppings!
If you want a crispy pizza crust, partially bake the pizza crust for 5 minutes. Remove from oven, add toppings and finish baking.
