Reaching for a refreshing summer snack? Adding a half cup of blueberries to your diet has proven to have tremendous effects on your mind, body and over all well-being. That’s only 80 calories and no fat! Eating blueberries regularly has shown to affect genes linked to fat burning and storage, specifically abdominal fat as well as lowering triglycerides (blood fat) and cholesterol. On top of that, an antioxidant found in blueberries (flavonoids) has been proven to not only improve but reverse age related memory loss.
